A glimpse of December...

We started out the month of December with our annual christmas tree hunt.  We headed up to the Flattops in search of the perfect tree.  After finding it, our boys took turns cutting it down.  We hauled it to the car and had ourselves a hotdog roast.  It's the perfect way to start the Christmas season!

Helping decorate the tree.

The last football game of the season, before the snow started flying.

The second week in December brought frigid temps!  It also brought lovely hoar frost.

We had a few decent snow storms throughout the month.  Taking full advantage of the snow, we hauled out the sleds.

I guess you don't need green grass to play tackle football.

You also don't need a snowboard.  A sled works perfectly fine.

We usually only get a few weeks of frost, and I love it!  So so pretty!

Playing Clarke's favorite game.

Nice selfie.

Our church choir put on a program.  It was so beautiful!

Another snowstorm, we ended up with over a foot of snow.  The boys, dog and I loved it!

Tromping in the snow.

Along with the snow, we had chilly temps!

The Hogbacks.

Love his lashes.

More sledding.

Apparently this is another use for candy canes. :-)

The Sunday School Christmas program.

Clarke helped me with some Christmas baking.

Playing games with Dad.

Hockey on a backyard rink.  All the kids need is a 2x2 size rink, to stay entertained for hours!

Hockey on a pond in our town.

The perfect way for a bunch of boys to burn some energy!

His first year on skates and he loves it!

You talking to me?!
