When I read this quote, my thoughts went instantly to a certain age child.

 I have a lot of nieces and nephews in this age range.

The age where they have now idea what sin is.

They live in simple childlike faith.

They don't even know what a conscience is.

Their eyes are pure innocence.

They reflect a clear conscience.

A happy carefree person is one with a clear conscience.

 Maaret is next.

I'm not sure what you have to "act" like at each particular age?

All I know is that I like how these three "older" people act at their particular ages. :-)

And my boys like how they act at their particular ages too!

This past weekend four of us gals attended a photography conference in Salt Lake City.  We took classes, drooled over photography equipment, went on field trips, looked at some amazing photography and so on.  We were students.

We were instructed on how to take photos in full sun.

We were encouraged to get into photos.  

We were told to figure out our "own" style of photography.

We practiced our skills all around the city.

We were given tips on how to take great portraits.

I'm thinking I didn't know about those tips before taking this photo. :-))

We even got a great tour of the state capitol! Thanks Maaret!:-))

We were challenged to try B &W photography.

We we told to embrace the light and learn to work with it. 

This was my style weekend.  Photography talk, great friends, and a little learning on top of it!  

Loved every minute of it.

Whether my boys know it or not, this will be a memory that stays with them. Football with Dad.  When Dad has time to play, they love love love it!  Whether its football, basketball, baseball, tag, whatever.  

It will be something they talk about 20 years down the road.  I can just imagine them sitting around the dinner table..."Remember when we were little tikes and Dad would play all time quarterback"...

Okay. It seems to me like we have had more than our share of rain this summer?!  I find myself getting irritated by it!  Sometimes really irritated by it.  So...instead of harboring these bad thoughts about the rain, I have tried to change my attitude.  These rainstorms make for some incredible skies!  With a camera in hand, how can a person not love those stormy skies?!
